    Hi all,

I am in the process of replacing the control switches with custom made mini switches. I have all the wiring firgured out, with the exception of the turn signals. I am wondering how to go about replacing the turn signal switch with a three way toggle (similar to the Posh mini switches). The bike is a 1982 XJ650 Maxim.

Does anybody know how to re-wire the turn signal switch for a 3 way toggle? I dug through the forums, but was unable to find anyting where someone had figured it out.

    Thanks!

Thanks Polock. Do you know how the color wires translate to where they are connected? Coming out of the harness, I have the following wires:

    Brown/White (from flasher?)
    Dark Greeen (right turn signal)
    Blue / Black (unknown)
    Red/Yellow (unknown)
    Chocolate (left turn signal)

Assuming that is correct, what should I be doing with the Blue/Black, and Red/Yellow wires? On the forum below, the member described splicing those together, but mentioned that he lost the flashing function. Was this because ou are not supposed to splice them, or possibly because the bulb voltage was too low to trigger the flasher?

    Thanks!
