Friends; a stripped drain plug and a severely neglected fuel system have me looking for this parts.

My bike is an 85 XJ700X with Mikuni BS33 CV carburetors.

Please contact me if you have them available; or at least one.

    Thanks!

my main concer is varnish removal, the idle port is plugged. I can deal with the drain issue but the varnish buildup is a pain in the butt. I want to be ready just in case. I could probably remove the drain bolt at work... shhhhhh!

clear idle port using a high e gutiar string or small wire sewing needle ect and a propane torch to heat the bowl at those points this will burn the varnish . have you soaked them in a gallon of carb cleaner?
it takes a few soaks but it does work compressed air is also helpful
be careful of fire when you torch them

I tried the guitar string but it is not a straight port (I believe). I cleaned the jets with the string nicely. I am not giving up! Just in case I want to see if there is something out there, then I can freely try whatever comes to mind. I will share my findings. Thanks for the tips!

We should have a good used set of bowls, send us an e-mail and tell us which carbs (#1, 2, 3, or 4) you need the bowls for (actually, #1 and 2 use the same bowl and #3 and #4 use the same bowl).
