Ignition help keys will not turn?

    Unless I remove the locking device, keys will not turn, correct keys. Will this self correct when mounted? I’m not quite sure if this is normal for a new switch or how to fix? Key position is currently in p position with locking pin not extended out.

    Try pushing the key In farther and turn. You may be caught between park and lock

    Tried that. I actually just took off the base, manually pushed the pin down and held it down while inserting the round catch. Reassembled and now the key turns correctly. Thanks for the reply hogfiddles!

    Work some powdered graphite down in there to lube things up
