Brake caliper noise Seca (4ko)

    Anyone else have experience of this? My calipers rattle and rumble after braking, sounds like they're falling apart. They have some play very much like the ones in this vid

    Did you replace pads recently? There is a shim that is behind the pad was it reinstalled?

    There is also a shim that acts as the bearing surface between the caliper and the caliper mounting block. If that were missing the caliper would rattle.
    The sliding pins can wear (though that's unusual) and also introduce slop.

    Pads have done a couple of hundred miles and all shims were re-fitted, though I have ordered a new set of the sprung H shaped ones as the old ones are fairly corroded
    I'll take a look at the pins, I seem to remember I had an issue with them a while back, can't remember what it was but maybe they're nfg
