Hey Guy's, I have an 82 XJ-750 Maxim ive been tinkering on for a few years now. I put a Mack 4 into 1 on it, made some intake Modification's and Jetted it out to #130. The Bike has responded very well, but the Stock Clutch has not. I made a Cable adjustment that got it to hook up ok, but I cannot Ride it like this indefinitely. I need to upgrade the Clutch, I found a few kits from a Company called EBC on Ebay but don't wanna Buy Junk Part's. Any Advice??

EBC parts are not junk, they are one of the best in the aftermarket for brake and clutch parts.
Buy a set of plates and a NEW set of heavy duty clutch springs . No more slippage

heavy duty clutch springs are the way to go if you have slippage and have done all the adjustments properly.
if you search for it there is a company that will put together a kit for you based on and mods you have done.

a big question is what kind of oil are you using . it has to be motorcycle jaso ma/ma2 rated oil.
    automotive oil will cause slippage.

Valvoline 10W-40 4 Cycle. I have it where it's shifting fine now, but I can't put the Bike in Neutral with the Engine Running. And yeah I planned on upgrading everything, Spring's and at least new Factory Disc's

Everything was fine until I replaced the Boot's on My Pod's with the Boot's that came on my Factory Airbox. It seriously woke this old Motor up.

So I decided to take a look at the Plate's Today, and found that 4 of my Steel Plates we're pretty much black. Good New's is my Bike came with a backup Motor from an 82 Seca. So I combined both Clutch's and it made a huge difference...

I feel like it's still slipping some up above 6k when the power really starts coming on, but I can easily find Neutral again and it's Shift's World's better.
