Anyone tried this on a motorcycle?

I have not but a riding pal of mine has and enthusiastically remarked about how easy it was. I tried and was too simple to figure it out and had the tire off with my spoons almost as quickly as this video shows. I will try it again with the next tire change.

I use a vacuum pump to suck the sidewalls in, worked great for me.

    How does that work?

For the video he did not apply anything to wet the bead before installing.

for breaking the bead, I have a large C clamp. Something that does not take up much space and you can use for many other purposes.

I just pulled the schrader valve out and used a small-ish vacuum pump and it pulled the sidewalls in bead and all, you'd be amazed at what atmospheric pressure can do in reverse.

I have 2 c-clamps that I have used for years to break the beads. 2 needed for the older, harder, more stubborn tires, with a board on the opposite side against the wheel rim.
