New to this forum. I have fitted front brake calipers from a 1990 XJ600 to a 1998 XJ600S Diversion.

Does anyone know the torque setting for the bolts holding the front brake caliper halves together?

Just did a quick search on youtube and found this for reference. Don't have a manual in front of me so.

1990 xj600 "pre diversion" has front twin discs, with one piston on each side of each disc
1998 xj600s diversion has front single disc with twin pot caLliper,
are you sure you will have enough stopping power with the single calliper with just one piston on each side of the one disc?
caLliper mounting bolt torque is 35nm, calliper half bolts "or calliper bracket bolts" as the Haynes calls them are also 35nm
