Well, I went in 1/2 with my son to get a cheap boat. I will need to work on the motor, a 1992 Yamaha XR-6 150 HP. Look at that monster and wish me luck.

It's a 6 cyl. 2 stroke with oil injection. I haven't run it yet but did a cold compression test and all cylinders were between 110 and 120 psi.

Nice. I'm not a boat guy at all, but my son bought a bass boat with the 3 cyl 75 hp version of that motor and I learned more about it then I wanted to. Definitely a different animal than cars and bikes.

I noticed that too, it needs more explanation and exploration. And pictures.

Sweet! I never had a desire to own a boat until one came along as a “gift with purchase” after I became unmarried and bought a house earlier this year. The boat is a 2001 Angler 180 Center Console with a Yamaha F90. The motor purrs like my XJ750K.

    on the top row Eye-Spy:

    - a white Corvette
    - a silver 55-57 Belair
    - a blue '70 GTO (probably a Judge option, because of the stripes)
    - a white 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda
    - a gold 1971 Plymouth Cuda
    - a red 1971-72 Chevelle SS
    - a brown 1970 Dodge Coronet (probably a superbee, maybe a convertible?)
    - a dark-colored mid-70's El Camino
    - something else that is too hidden to ID, but maybe a 1990's Camaro or Firebird
    - the Pace Car Corvette is a 1978 model

Lots of other interesting stuff in there.

I dig the bullnose Ford over by the Chevy pickup and the white Buick convertible in the top picture.

What a great collection of Big Boy Toys, or Big Girl Toys, just to be politically correct. But I do question the description of "cheap boat". I was under the impression that was an oxymoron. Sort of like "free motorcycle".
