Gunson IS the company that makes the Colortune.

So I am looking on Amazon and all I can find is the color tune in either 14mm or 10mm.
However there is an adapter.
Also another company GUNSON has one that is 12mm. It looks like a big piece of plastic though.
Do you have any recommendations between the two or maybe another brand?

Is the color tune in the 10mm size appropriate for my xj700x?

After blasting, you should coat right away to protect metal from flash-rusting

I haven't emptied my tanks in years....and it's been anywhere from 5-10 years since cleaning the carbs first time, depending on which bike.

if I show you a picture of a set of carb s could you identify, them for me please, I can tell you they was advertised as xj750 carbs but they are too small for my engine , the ports that sit in the intake mounts are 300 across and not 350, they are makuni carbs i cant sell them until I know what they are for . regards fatmanDuane

Hi Dave do you have an 83 400 Maxim float spec for the mikuni carbs?

Nic... Easiest is to swap it with the a known good one. But, if you have some thing killing them, you may ruin someone else's good one---

Gary, remove the tank. Turn it over and remove the petcock. Clean it and rebuild it

Dutch, look for the two screws on the underside of the headlight trim ring---they're about 5:00 and 7:00 positions

BTS, have you checked for spark? Fuel in the cyls?
