Having an issue getting the rear disk brake on my 1983 Seca 900 properly bleed. I replaced the rubber brake lines with SS, and replaced the rubber tube from the reservoir to the master cylinder. I have since run almost a full liter of brake fluid through the system and I am still getting a massive amount of bubbles in the brake fluid. This is only coming from the outboard bleed nipple. The inboard seems to be fine with no bubbles present. If I close the bleed nipples and pump the pedal I get air bubbles coming up into the reservoir with every stroke. I tried a mighty vac but only got a constant stream of bubbles. Air must be getting into the system at some point since the amount of air I have expelled is much greater than the total system volume.

    Any suggestions?

Strange, if air is getting in, fluid should be leaking out.

I wonder if your new lines are not sealed properly.

I had SS lines made at a shop and on one the test they did failed as the banjo crimp failed.

    Just a thought.

have you slackened off the bleed nipple too much, for it to bee sucking in air,
you can remove the nipple and wrap it in plumbers ptfe tape on the threaded bit, then replace nipple, that should seal it enough to bleed it , afterwards just tighten it back up , its ok to leave the tape in situ.
