    Hey all,

    it is a sad day, I need to sell my first motorcycle. I have gotten a new motorcycle and at this point in my life I cannot spend the time cleaning carbs like I used to. I am trying to avoid throwing this into a dump and instead give the community a chance at it. I am looking for $300 for an XJ550 Maxim but I am flexible. It runs, however the carbs have not been cleaned in a few months and therefore, it is probably not going to be driveable until that is done. It has a SS-28 windshield on it. The exhaust does leak, and it does burn oil a bit so you will smell like a motorcycle after riding. It was a great first bike I have had it since 2011 and I fixed it up using this forum. Head spacing done in 2012. Let me know if anyone near Vero Beach Florida is interested.
