    G’day all,

I have recently picked up a late 1981 550 Seca as a project bike and have been told it is a rarer model. After a couple weeks of searching for parts I now know I might be able to interchange some parts with some other models.
Will I have to Frankenstein this bike? If so is there a list of compatibility for parts?
I am all for customizing and probably try to modernize a couple things like LED signals and Brakes but I require a fuel tank, intake/exhaust cams and 4-2 exhaust Collector and mufflers. Those are the major things I have seen for right now.
I would love to try to keep things original but again parts are hard to find.

I have a few parts, but probably not what you're looking for. Someone recently had an original exhaust he wanted to sell, if you search the postings. Gas tanks, a bit harder to find, though there was a super nice '82 tank (those are red) that came up recently.
    Best of luck!

    Will a xj750 4-2 collector work on the 550?

'Seca' not rare in Europe (it was the only one made even to 1984 I think) so more parts on UK, German ebay . In France they don't like ebay so you can try le Bon Coin.. https://www.leboncoin.fr/
Canadian so you can speak French right?;)

No it will not fit. Partzila is a great resource for part crossover. If you click the part it will list all other bikes that part will fit.
