1981 XJ650 maximum recommended turn signal flasher?

I'm converting my 81 xj650 turn signals to led as the flasher I had decided to croak while sat for 15 years, I don't know much about the flashers or electrical in general if I'm being honest. I tried to buy a random 12v one off of Amazon but it was dead on arrival or I killed it when fixing the rats nest of broken wires the previous owner left me trying to find out what is what i got it all sorted after countless hours and was wondering if anyone else converted to led and what flasher did they switch to? I don't want to risk buying one that's garbage or just won't work if anyone can point me in a direction to a decent one it'd be greatly appreciated
