1984 Maxim carbs same as 82 Seca.

    Hi i was wondering if carbs from a 1984 maxim 750 will work on a 1982 750 Seca.Thanks

    Out of curiosity, why are you trying to do the carb swap? Do you have a bike without a carb rack, or are you having running issues? Are you trying to get more performance out of the bike?

    If it's a Canadian XJ750 Maxim or 1984 Midnight Maxim (but NOT a Seca), then it will use the same HSC32 carbs as a 1981-83 750 Seca. If it's a 1984 XJ750RL Seca model, it uses HSC33 series carbs, and they won't fit properly.
