Maybe you could use the GSXR ECU?

Ecotrons makes small engine FI stuff, but only one or two cylinder. Not sure if the ECU they use for the EX250 could be adapted for four cylinder use. Their software is horrible, though, so I wouldn't really recommend it.

Ill look into the gsxr ecu then wander if theres an difference in firing order

Why would firing order matter? You just wire it so it fires correctly. If Suzuki isn't doing sequential injection, then it problem doesn't matter anyway... pretty sure every transverse four is going to have 1/4 up at the same time that 2/3 are down.

The bigger concern is more likely how Suzuki's sensors - especially their crank position sensor - can be mounted to your engine.

There's also the question of whether they're using Kettering coils or CDI...

No. You would also need to figure out all the other sensors, and the air box, and the fuel pump, and whatever Suzuki uses for a "choke", and maybe an O2 sensor, and then there's the question of how well the GSXR tune will work on an XJ700X, and whether it can be modified.

The fuel pump is probably going to be the most complicated piece to fit.

I doubt Suzuki is using a MAF. They are probably running speed density or Alpha N. If it were a MAF it would be easier, since that would likely self-tune to a large extent.

There's also IAT (inlet air temperature).

After reading around a bit, it looks like the GSXR 600 uses sequential fuel injection, so you would also need a cam position sensor.

Oof so that takes the gsxr ecu out because i have no idea how i would make that work i wander if any other bike has similarly sized throttle bodies

I'm not sure I understand your conclusion. You were confident you could attach the crank position sensor setup of a GXSR to your XJ, but not the cam position sensor? And why does that mean you couldn't use GSXR throttle bodies? They don't have to be used with GXSR ECU. They don't even have to be fired sequentially. If they're batch fired, though, idle will probably be richer and rougher.

Oh ...well i guess its still worth a shot ill look into other parts for this Frankenstein bike im building then but the reason i said something about the throttle bodies is because i want to see if any other bikes have cheaper throttle bodies
