Speaking of which... I'm feeling like my carbs are a little rich even thought the plugs show maybe only ever so slightly rich...

On an 85F morning should I be able to start a 750 Seca with ZERO enrichment?

    Yes. Easily.
A little bit rich is not a bad thing. It helps cool the combustion chamber, which is beneficial during long trips in hot weather, or when heavy traffic is expected.

A little bit lean (as Yamaha delivered the bike) is not a bad thing either. Power production is increased, and fuel economy is maximized.
