Wanted 80-84 xj650 seca tank

    I don't care what color it is. Unfortunately (and understandably) I run into the same problem on all of the OEM websites saying that the tank is unavailable. My tank had holes in it from the previous owner dropping it and then screwing screws into it to try and pull the dent out. I was able to get the holes welded and sealed the tank with red kote. The red kote will be fine for now, but I am anticipating running into future issues with the red kote chipping away. I know I should'nt have taken the shortcut with sealing it and I should've getten professionally sealed in the first place, but I guess those are the kinds of lessons you have to learn.

    I will continue to check ebay :)

    So if I understand, you have a 650 seca tank now, it just has some holes so you'd like to replace. If I am correct and you would like to sell your seca tank with the holes please lmk, I feel like I could fix it at work im specifically looking for a 550 or 650 seca tank also. Be safe, thanks

    Yes I do, I just like them both I like the 550 the best I have access to anything I need to modify anything but, yes the 550 is my favorite, the 650 I like very much and neither tanks in seca style can I find

    Are the 1983 SECA XJ750RK tanks the same? I have one parts bike and one running bike (starter clutch slips). I could sell the parts bike tank.
