I tripped over the damn dog coming out of my shed and snapped my index and middle finger. I have a old trailer ramp that I use to get my bike in and out of the shed, when I fell my fingers went through the holes and that was all it took. Sucks even more because I got a buddy coming down from China Grove, NC friday for me to start his tattoo, don't know how I'm going to do that with one hand.

Yea, but I'm only an apprentice right now, working with a friend. I'm not tattooing anyone other than friends right now. I don't even have my own equipment yet, I'm using my buddies spare set up. I started drawing tattoo flash about 12 years ago and have sold a good number of pieces and have around half my body tattooed so this was just the next step.

That's not what I was saying, I would do it just not right now. I don't want to butcher anyone other than the few I am tattooing right now :D

I know....I was just joking. Let me know when you feel up to it and we can go for a ride and then you can practice perfecting your art on me. I need help coming up with what to get where though. I was thinking a half sleeve on my left arm, but my wife is objecting to that, so it would either be on my left leg OR 1/4 sleeve...OR I invest into long sleeves for work :D

Look on Ebay, and be open-minded. A LOT of different shocks will work on that bike. Harley shocks will work if you change the rubbers. ATV shocks will work, too, but beware of them. Read this entire thread for an example. As far as bottoming out goes, stay at 10 inches (eye-center to eye-center) or above and you should be fine. Happy building. Start a thread and show us some pics!!

TANK!!! Did you ever get anymore work done on thit thing or what? I never really did anything else with mine. I got lazy. Even though I lost my job and was out of work for over 3 months I didn't touch it. Depression and stress are bitches. Now I'm sitting in Iraq and all I want to do is work on my Jeep and bikes. Wish I could get those 3 months back that I wasted.
