straight handle bar can go for $15 plus shipping. because of its odd shape I assume UPS is the way to go

decided to keep the engine itself so plan to save the covers. sorry for not updating it sooner.

Moellear, is that a whole speedo assembly? My needle broke some time ago, and if I could get one cheap I'd probably do it.

It was great meeting you as well. Hope the reassembly goes as well as I predict for you. You seem to understand the importance of putting everything back together in a particular order from our discussion so give me a ring if you get stuck anywhere!

the only part associated with a speedometer I have left is a drive unit --> the part that sits in your wheel hub and turns the cable

Please, people, just read before posting. That goes for all forum topics whether it be in sell/trade section, xjchat section, or anywhere else on this website. Not just my thread here.

Some people never cease to amaze me...

Grant it my thread lasted 7 pages, over 13000 views, and I may not have updated in the past few weeks, but that's because I seen a lack of interest in the few remaining parts I have left (which was last compiled on June 10th).

Jester; no where did I mention a frame & title even offered.

Wesgmc; still dealing with that noisy speedo tach assembly? You posted over a year ago telling us all your problem. Bigfitz52 has a detailed write-up on how to lubricate it properly, and responded to your posting as well. Have you attempted to do what Bigfitz52 suggested? I was able to tear mine apart and its working better than ever. Front fork caps... I plan to keep on the spare set of front forks that way if the forks would ever be used, the caps would be with 'em. Lastly, I have no clue what you mean by grips needing endcaps. My guess is the grips must not be original stock handlebar grips, and it would almost be cheaper to get a new set from ebay.

Many, many thanks go out to everyone I was able to offer parts at reasonable prices. The remaining parts will most likely be sold at scrap yard or tossed in dumpster, if I feel I would never use them, and get no more responses.
