    Changing the internals and/or the oil is no substitute for a stout brace between the legs just above the wheel. Different oil and/or springs won't do anything to stiffen the fork against twisting, which is what a fork brace does.

    Most Harleys are too heavy and don't go fast enough for them to notice.

    Well either way i'll see how it goes nce it's done and i think the fork brace is needed i plan on getting this style

    Well the Jeans were just laying in the garage so i used them since it's softer that the bar stool it's on and the shop it was in was my old school but now it's home in the garage the only thing i miss is the lifts but i make due

    Well i found where to get the fork brace from theirs a site called spec II that makes fork braces for the Seca and that's where i'm gonna get the fork brace from

    Well i think with these last couple things it's ready to go to powder coat and come back and get wired up it's getting closer and closer to the end

    i plan on getting a springer front end for it and some bags i can just strap onto the frame other than that just finish up some odds and ends then get another bike to chop that will off set the evil in this bike

    Sorry but i don't mean your bike is ugly, just that it can never be restored to what it once was, that's saad in my eyes.

    I feel like it actually could be restored since half the frame is still stock original it'd just be a matter of will to do it but people have been chopping bobbing bikes for a long time, you'd probably be mortified of what I'm doing to my 73 xs650

    The XS650 was made in huge volumes for many, many years. Cut those up all you want :)
