900RK for sale: $1200 obo.

Sorry, not trying to gripe at ya'll, just frustrated. I don't know whether it's worth it to wait the two months for a title cuz I need the bike gone now, but evidently it's not worth much to an out-of-stater(the majority of people here) without a title.

Here's a pic I found from the day I brought it home. Please excuse the mess and my somewhat... desheveled appearance, I spent a long afternoon in the garage on it that day just looking it over, checking, cleaning, and surveying it for "needs". Gives you an idea of what mine looks like though:

I have a 900. It was my my main ride for 5 years after I restored it. Getting a 900 in shape to go fast is a GREAT project.

If that bike passes a Compression Test with anything close to specs ... anybody who can "Spin the wrenches" can have it rippin'-up-pavement in just a couple of days.

Provided the Compression is good ... 70,000 Miles is over the limit for the Cam Chain. That would definitely need being replaced. There's an "Old School Method" for replacing the Valve Seals without removing the Head.

With no latent defects ... such as: transmission problems or camshaft lobe issues ... the rest of the bike it pretty much "Bullet Proof"

The fun of a 900 is the way she's geared and how quickly the tack goes from left to right!

The 900 is a "Sport-Tourer' ... you'll really like the "Sport" side.

If only I lived closer! Looks like a sweet project, pity you have to off-load her.
