Added two more bikes....1 for me, 1 for her

We rented a truck to go up to pick up a '84 V65 Sabre this past weekend and while I was there, I got the seller to throw in a '88 1100 Shadow for my sweetheart for next to nothing.

My plan is to flip the V65....I only bought it because of the Hondaline fairing...pretty rare these days. There's one on fleabay selling for 2 grand with 55,000 miles so I should be golden with mine at 17K. I wasn't planning on even pulling and cleaning the carbs.....I was just going to do a cosmetic cleaning and let it go and see what happens. If it doesn't move, the bikes' in pretty good "starting condition" so if I'm forced into it, I'll restore it but it's a pig of a bike so I'm going to try to avoid it.

The Shadow fit my 5'-4" girlfriend perfectly and she's strong enough to handle it.....if she likes it, we'll move it over to her house, if not...off to fleabay it will go because I've got no use for a cruiser<LOL>. The seats and exhaust, battery box and side covers came with the bike and titles came with both.


Not bad for a few hundred bucks.....
