it was up on ebay for less than £400 bin, so hopefully it could provide a cheap source of parts for someone.

I'm not sure about that seat but one thing is for sure, I won't be on it.

Testing Waters all right. I bet he finds the water Freezing.

That's funny. I'm planning to put the exact same tires on my 82 Facebook find. I'm not planning to pod or run nearly open pipes like that though. I'm not going through the expense to bring it back to stock. Too much time and $ for that at this point.
Nice that you don't hear him taking off enough to see if that engine was running well on those pods or not.
When my sawzall victim gets sold, it will be more for what its worth, about $1K

This one is a bit up there in $. If I could get my red '83 this kind of coin, it would be sold

Those are some pretty amazing price asks! I have 5 complete bikes, with titles I would be happy to get $4500 for.

I will only look at one of them if it is a 1000 or 1100, besides that I have been burned too many times with them bikes. Very weak head gaskets on the smaller CC ones. And as mentioned already, that nasty starter issue.

Don't recall having one of them Franz, I might of but don't recall. I had a old XS three cylinder that had head issues that went to parts. I did have a KLR 650 I did a 685 it on with new head. Bought it with a blown top end. Sorry I can't help you out on the Z1000...but would like to get my hands on one at a good price.

Yes the old cross over line that some of the bikes have. That looks like it need to be changed to a different size line imho.
