    XMax, huh? Lol

sometimes, if I see an incorrectly listed XJ on marketplace, I’ll contact the seller to let them know that if they change the listing to the correct thing they might get better results....... typical answer is “ they don’t have a category for an XJwhatever”

funny, but whenever I list anything on marketplace I have no trouble creating an accurate listing.

seriously, if someone is really looking for a VMax really gonna spend time looking at an xj750rj for example??? Lol

I've actually had this problem listing my Turbo Seca on facebook recently. It may be more of a problem with the iPhone app. Usually takes a couple of tries because it forces Model information, but when you go to type it it only does a "search" and you have to select other and then get to type it in. Any time you edit the post it'll throw out your typed model and force you to go through it all again.

^^ In the description area is where I make all the corrections it will not let me make. Just putting what model the bike really is and a good description will really helps things out. Doing that take all the guess work out for the buyer. I too try to contact the seller to give them a nudge to correct it, most of the time the feedback is good...mostly.

At that price it's a steal. If it were in my state it would be in my garage by now with my other 2 Fazers. There are many parts on that bike that look to be in excellent condition, especially that original exhaust system. Almost impossible to find without being all dented up. That's $300 - $400 right there. Fuel tank, if it's as good as it looks in pics, would go for close to $300 not to mention the piece that goes on the top of it. And try and find those fragile mesh carb covers. Granted those are not the chrome style ones but still rarely come up on ebay.
Hope you get it, Timbox. Well worth it. Those are great bikes and real sleepers when it comes to performance.

The seller never got back to me in a timely manner. I txt him again yesterday and it has been sold. I would have picked it up for the asking price just to have a really different bike. It is nice that it is gone saved me a road trip and to try to make room in my shed.

That 900 parts bike is a good snag..... if that were near me, I’d already have it. The others are all pretty nice, too—— and prices are pretty much in the good range too

Sun damage and probably more, but for $100 or so, that would be a great buy.

" Bike is in excellent condition but it does not run."
less than excellent if it does not run, so it is a little overpriced.
he can replace the seals in the carbs but cant figure ignition out
"Still does not run. Maybe timing?"
    timing is not adjustable

From his description and the fact that he has put 2000 miles on it in the last year it would seem that it runs. But I agree that $2000 is a bit pricey. If it checked out as good as he indicates I would think $1200-$1300 would be ok.

Are you sure it’s an X model? Seems to look just like mine except for the temp gauge and pods. If it is an X model I don’t see how it could be running well.

The frame back by the tail has the "X" behind the model symbol. I was trying to figure out why it would have the temp gauge without a radiator. I can't remember the location the water inlet and outlet hoses were in the engine or if we could even see them in the pics. I just thought it was interesting and I would share.

I'm thinking that might be a replacement engine--air cooled.

Ok, so I figured ‘let’s see what he says....’ I just sent a question:

“Ok, so if I bid on this one and win, and someone else bids on your OTHER AUCTION FOR THE SAME BIKE and wins...... how are you going to give both of us the same bike?”

I think ALL of us should ask him that. There’s one bid on the first auction, but none on the second one yet. I’m not gonna bid cuz if I win, I’m stuck trying to get a duplicated bike from california to here if he actually does have two that are built identical.
