I think he might be one of those people that put a low price to grab attention but are after something else. Trade for a running car/truck tells me he’s after more than $500. Bunch of that stuff here too, listed for $1k and then the add reads $7900 OBO

They might just be off for the summer.
I'm having a bit of trouble at the moment with a hot-running engine and fairly sure it's inadequate airflow by the lowers doen't help things.
    They'll be off tomorrow.

Actually for an XS650 it is in the right ballpark that's about what they're going for.

Wow, I am selling my running project bikes way too low then. I know it is all about supply and demand. Also location....location... Hope the seller gets what they want for the bike.

    I suppose that is possible...

Did they sell the '84 XJ900RL with the frame mounted fairing in Canada?

Jeez, for $500.... might be interesting

Don't know if it was sold in Canada but l believe the 750 motor fits the 900 frame. Same crankcase l think. Probably a different stroke.

Of course it does. The 750rl is basically a 750 engine in a otherwise 900rk

    OK, I see it now.

Looking it up the official reference: https://www.xjbikes.com/forums/threads/tech-topic-model-id-and-vins.14577/

Only 601 built for Canada, only available in Canada, Europe, and Australia. Wow, pretty rare bird.

I wonder what it would cost to ship from Nova Scotia to Minneapolis................................

Simmy is happy with his sidecar and turbo.
To be honest I have a problem keeping up with the maintenance on my existing bikes.
Still need to complete the rebuild of the kid’s KDX and my KTM quit charging last fall.
The BSA (BS’eh) won’t start for me.
And I still have my 900 motor to assemble for my Turbo. And I need to ride more!

In case that picture gets pulled, here it is. Someone actually put some time into that, looks like something I might've done in high school! Those snap in lights and the red push button are Radio Shack items for sure! Had a ton of those way back in the day.

The big question is what the orange light above the key switch is for. My guess is warp drive.
