    What's up I'm Jason and new to the motorcycle scene. I just bought a 1981 XJ550 Maxim. Some of the things I have already found on the site will be a lifesaver and help me with my first build. I will be hardtailing it and giving it the bobber look, and I'm sure I will need lots of help from here. I'm from North Texas. I just wanted to say hello.

    I like the build that Crath did. The rear frame rails line up with the tubes in the backbone nicely. Since you have a chain, you can strech out the rear end easily for the long, radical look.
