anti-glare

    What, if anything, are yall using to stop the glare from the instrument cluster? When the sun's coming in over my shoulder I fell like I've got high beams in my eyes.

    Also, just changed my oil about 150 miles ago, seem to have slipping probs now... if I change it again and use a different oil, should I use some type of flush treatment first? Presuming the oil I used isn't much liked by my bike?

    Don't know about the glare, but the slipping issue may be from a friction reducer in the oil. If you search the threads, you're sure to find a subject directly relating to it.

    You can just change the oil again, make sure whatever oil you use (oil for motorcycles is nearly a religious topic) that it doesn't have the words "Energy Conserving" in that API startburst symbol on the back.

    Good choices are either a motorcycle specific oil, or Rotella T which is a diesel oil, but a big favorite of motorcyclists

    Altus is right. If you have used a regular car oil with friction modifiers, it will cause your wet clutch to slip. If this is the case, changing the oil should solve your problem. Make sure to drain both plugs to remove all the oil or it may take more than one oil change to get all of it out of there.
