Thought I'd chime in... I'm working on my 2nd Seca 750 (#1 is still on hold) - I got it last year from a student at Ship. It has the Tour Pack fairing and 1 of the side lowers but is missing the windshield. I have a NOS Vetter rack system I'm going to put on. Also got a used set of Vetter side bags that I repainted. Just replaced/balanced the front tire, cleaned out the "unique" master cylinder, will be rebuilding both forks.

Zyggy - I used to work in Mechanicsburg for a long time. Which bike? [Edit] - never mind; I now see it's a 650 Maxim from your signature. What problems?

I've had the pleasure of visiting San Diego 8 or so times - it is one of the places I'd move to in a heartbeat (if I could afford it)! One of the times I actually stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado! I think I'd take 12-month CA riding weather over the PA seasonal changes! Shoot them Bambies - less of them to get on the roads.

Hey Zap. I actually have the beast on the road now, but as is the way with these old bikes, little problems keep coming to the surface. I'm not complaining, except I wish it was closer to winter so I could feel good about breaking this thing apart and getting my hands dirty again.

Anyone on this thread feel free to PM me sometime if you would like to ride on the weekend. Would love to meet some fellow XJ'ers in the area.

How close to York area are you iwin? York is about 45 mins to an hour south of where I am, depending on which way I go. I'm not much of a highway driver so keep that in mind.
