when I bought my Seca the previous owner had the tank repainted but did not put new decals on. (see my avatar)

i ordered at set of tank stripe decals and just received them.

any helpful hints before i try to put these things on. Generally I am pretty inept when it comes to these things, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

lay them on the tank dry and mark the possition you want them with masking tape. don't peel all the baking off, just enough to get one side straight first. don't panic!

first clean the tank with windex where they go then lay them on where you want them with the backing on and use some masking tape to make a hinge so whey will flop down and hinge right back where they were
after your happy with the position flop them down and peel off the backing
    without messing up the hinges
then spray windex on the tank and sticker, hinge them back up, the windex will let them slide a little if you get a wrinkle, dab them down, don't wipe
start in the middle and work to the ends
try to push out any bubbles while the windex is wet, otherwise stick it with a pin at the edge of the bubble and work it out
the good news is you only see one side at a time
