Correct me if I'm wrong Ian, but it sounds like you don't have the problem that stifles most of our creativity and time.

    Wife and kids.

They sure suck the creativity out of ya. Not to mention how they bleed the Bike Parts Fund dry. :?

Well, that's only half true. No kids yet. Thank God. I'm sure all you're little ones bring you great joy and all, but at this point in my life, children just seem to get in the way of everything I do. But think about it, once they're out of the house you can have a midlife crisis to look forward to. Someone wise once said to me that we make too many hills for ourselves ie: once i'm out of school, everythigns going to be okay, then once i get a job everythigns going to be okay, once I get married everythigns gonna be okay and so fourth. They went on to say we get so caught up in that way of thinking, we never realize how good we have it at the current time. So there's never been a better time to start doing the things we want to do than right now. But enough preacher talk. I've got some stuff to work on that you're all gonna like(or at least be interested by).

HG, felt the same way when we found out we were going to have a child. But it all changed when she appeared. I have her out in the garage with me when I'm wrenching and she seems happy enough. Gotta give her the correct exposure at these tender years. I don't know how I got along without her, she has enhanced the experience. That isn't to say having children is all roses, they have their thorns (like she's too little to ride so I've got to wait for mommy to come home before I can test ride anything). but on the whole, I don't mind the changes I've had to make to accommodate her in my life. I would rather spend the time with her anyway. I love your advice on life's perspective, it is very true. Glad to hear you found it at a young age, I took my time about it.

Lord, ain't that the truth; if you wait until everything's perfect, you'll be perfectly dead without getting anything done!
