Blackout XJ550 Build

    yeah i plan on filling the holes and making a license plate mount on the right side of the frame and putting a LED brake light on top of it. i will maybe do small blinkers in the holes on the sides of the fender.

    here is a pic out in the driveway. i photochopped filling in the tank emblem holes and rear fender to see the look before i do it.

    missed the posts sorry guys.

    I plan on doing what Crath did, on the right side with a plate bracket and LED tailight mounted on it. The fender fit right between the frame,its just mounted to a tab i made on the last upper crossmember before the cut.

    Cant wait till warmer spring temps to get back into it and start ride'n.

    got it running ok after some fresh gas and simple carb cleaning. Needs a tune-up still but atleast it stays running now. The engine wants to stick on a rev for a little bit when you get on the throttle so its a sketchy ride, but I couldnt resist!

    fixed the video link. I also Got it running better today to where the throttle wouldnt hang. Damn does it rip, supprised me the balls it has. Feels and sounds real nice under power

    Will do, its a temp. fix for right now till I get my bracket made for it. Its just welded to the crossmember 8)


    nice, yeah I like yours too. Nice seat, mine is a hack job comparred to yours. How'd you end up making it? or what did you use, stock or another seat off somthing?
