blinkers, running tail light and plate light

    Ok blinkers stopped blinking and stay solid. All new bulbs 1156. The running light on the tail does not stay lit. the brake light works. New 1157 bulbs. And my plate light will not come on. It is an 12v 8watt bulb. I could only get a 12 v 5 watts bulb. will that do anything. Can I just go by a 2 or 3 prong electric flasher? for the blinkers. all fuses are good and all the wires connecting to them are good.
    Need to fix this asap


    edit also in order for my rear blinkers the be on the right side I have to run the green wire to the brown and the brown wire to the green. But the front two blinkers are in the right colour order?

    All that I can say is to check/clean the grounding connections and the running light wire on the tail light. Try connecting 12V to each of the buttons on the bottom to see if you can get each filament to light up.

    A two pin flasher is the ticket, Lead. I have no idea why everything went south on you. Have you done any other maintence recently? The change in wattage (8 to 5) doesn't seem like enought to have made your existing relay unhappy. Might be that it is corroded. Have a peak.
