Bog at 7000 rpm

    1981 Yamaha Maxim 550 Bobber. Chased a bog at 7000 rpm for three years. Put a carb kit and K&N air filters on the bike. You would think with a bog at 7000 rpms that it was a carb issue. NOT!!! I can take the carbs apart in my sleep. As it turned out, it was a bad coil. Who would of thought a coil? But that is what it was. Bike is stronger than ever.
