Carb problem!! WEIRD!!!!!

    So my bike (XJ750J) has started running poorly with one unusual symptom. At idle the carb slides (Yes I have pods) 1-3 barely move but #4 is moving up and down about 1/4 of an inch. And more fun comes when it suddenly starts revving up uncontrolled passed red line. My valves are at the bottom end of good and are going to be adjusted when I get my new head. I just cleaned the carbs as I do every year and it was just running so good last week. What could cause this??? I finally got a color tune and they are wonderful. I am having some problems getting #4 to dial in and fire now. Oh right before the engine starts to rev up it starts misfiring a little and then goes like it's wide open. HELP ME!!
