Carburetors xj750 question

    Looks something like this, if that little hole is not leaned out bike will not run right. I use a thin stiff wire and compressed air. A bread tie with the insulation stripped off of it works well.

    Anybody got a video on how to rebuild these specific carburetors for 82 xj750? These pos carbs got me burning my starter up

    That is the church of clean the best I can do for you. Once you get the operation of the carbs down, they are all more or less the same. The throttle body seals and fuel O rings will give you the most hassle. Getting all the jets our and all the little springs, O rings and little washers is also a little challenging. Once the carbs are good, then check the valve specs. With both those being in tune and good compression the bike should start right up. My 700x did.
