With bike on centerstand and in neutral the wheel does not move. After putting in first the wheel rotates some. Is this normal or does the cable need adjustment? I have attempted to adjust it but cant get it to completely stop.
    Thanks Rps

Just the fact that there is oil in your engine will spin trans and rear wheel somewhat. Can you stop the wheel with just a touch of rear brake and hold it with your hand? Then it may be just a slight warpage of clutch plates that will turn the wheel. Have you had clutch apart? This is also common with aftermarket clutch parts are sometimes not quite to spec of oem ones and a bit of clutch drag is apparent.

@Toomanybikes beat me to it. Put the bike on the centerstand and get it to your situation of some rotation in first gear. Engage the rear brake. If the engine revs dip when the wheel stops, you probably have excessive drag on the clutch and it needs more adjustment. If the wheel stops and engine speed isn't much affected at all, you are probably ok.

Ok, I can stop the wheel with a tap of the brake and hold it with my hand and there is no change in idle speed, so I should be good. Thanks again
