    first test yielded
    110 90 90 110

after a dab a oil in each i came up with
    140 110 120 120

i like the second numbers a lot better, but not totally stoked on the 30pt variance between 1st and 2nd cylinder. does this indicate a ring/valve problem?

note: the head gasket has been replaced, but the engine hasnt been run sufficently to do a retorque on the head nuts. i intend to do so, and re-test. think that could bring my numbers up to more pleasant reading?

still fiddling with the re-wire. and discovered that the carbs leak) gdm mtherfkk, sht, ckck, gdmitall!!!) :)

    probly the throttle shaft seals.

Have you taken care of the valve shim clearances?

What kind of bike do you have? You may want to add that to your signature.

If you had the head off, what did the cylinders look like?

Did you get a compression test before the head came off?

We need bike, mileage, background/history if possible--- not enough to go on here.

mostly just curious if those numbers might go up or even out if i ran it for a while and then retorqued the head bolts.

and what your expertly opinion is on those numbers in general
