Found it...thanks. I took my bike out just now and ran it real slow and watched the speedo. It idles at 1050 rpms and at 10mph I'm hitting 3k rpms. I'm asking...does this sound like my speedo is not operating properly?
Nonetheless, I'm going to follow Fitz's thread and clean my speedo. My stock tach has the electrical connector. Should I try to clean it as well? I've been riding it all weekend. I've probably put 200 miles on it this weekend. It's the most I've ridden it since I've had it. On a full tank I'm getting 100 miles. I zero out my trip gauge everytime I fill up. My tank is suppose to hold 2.5 gallons, reserve .9. That's 40miles per gallon. Is that good?
