engine and starter clutch

    my starter clutch is apparently worn and ive tried everything including changing the oil and cleaning the starter and it still spins when it is warm. i am prolly going to tear down and rebuild it i was wondering if anyone knew any good online parts supplier. and any idea on a price for an entire rebuild of the engine..

    You may well wish to contact Chacal, he has just about everything you might need at reasonable prices.
    There is a thread on how to rebuild the clutch (provided it isn't fractured into pieces) without having to pull the engine. It involves parts replacement through the alternator shaft cavity. Not a process for the shaky of hand but a lot less time than breaking down the block.
