I have an 82' Maxim 1100. The other day we were riding and I lost spark to cylinders 1&4. I checked the coil and it's not bad. Bought a new pick up coil, put it in today and it didn't fix the problem. Thinking it's the boost sensor or the TCI. Not sure. Any ideas? Also, the tube on the bottom of the sensor has a bent little kink in it but I've put 300 miles on it this year and it must have been like that already. Got the bike in April. I hate electrical issues.
    Thanks

I've also checked all the fuses, grounds, and tested the connector for the coil that runs 1&4 and it's getting power through the red but must not be getting the signal to fire. Baffled on this one. Any help would be appreciated. Its to nice out for her to just sit in the garage.

It might be the ignition coil itself, have you checked it for resistance? You can "swap" the LH and RH coils and see if the problem "follows" the suspected bad coil.........

I Did swap them. The coil for 1&4 worked off the connector for 2&3.
