Fuel pump on a 1980 xj650

    Hi, I'm new to the forum, just recently picked up a xj650 on trade. And I was wondering... has anyone here tried to put a fuel pump on one of these?

    Also I just now started my bike up and its take a few mins, then once I get it going, it seems to have alot of back pressure. I noticed by the carb to the individually air pods/filters that there back pressure coming out there as well. Would anyone here have any insight on what the issue could be?

    1. There is no need for a fuel pump on this type of motorcycle.
