Furious, about to rip someone's head off!

What is it with some people? What is their major malfunction?

Just gone outside to go to the shop & discovered that the little Honda 400 has been liberally covered in mortar & assorted crap by contractors working on the guy downstairs' boiler. On viewing the CCTV back they've also been knocking chunks of old mortar out with a hammer straight onto it! I can't see any dents in the light we have left but swilled the crap off (after photos) and it's a bit scratched up.

Did they knock on the door to ask if it could be moved? Or even God forbid take a second to throw a sheet over it before starting? Did they f**k? :evil:

Not sure about UK laws, but here, especially if you have video evidence...well...whatever issues you have should be covered as well as the time it takes you to get it fixed.

Still...really sucks when someone is so careless with your stuff!

I'd be furious to 750, I'd be doing them for criminal damage/negligence as well. Especially if it's caught on CCTV!

 

That sucks, Bloke, but it's not a surprise. It would be worthwhile to contact the parent company or foreman and point out that it's all on CCTV, and give them a copy. Lawsuits don't fix behavior, but it could be used as part of their training for future employees. Of course, that's assuming the parent company cares, and that's not a given.

 

Mortar and grout hard-set onto paint and rubber/plastic parts??

That'll take a while to clean - - I think vinegar helps.

that really sucks! I have the misfortune of having an idiot neighbor that keeps hiring guys to do their yard work and use a weed whacker on the driveway right next to my vehicles. they have done over a thousand dollars worth of damage to my van. and they denied being responsible! my heart goes out to you. it's people like that that are the reason we can't have nice things.

One more example of why I can't stand the majority of people.

Glad you got it on CCTV. Did you take some stills as well? It's all evidence for compensation.
