gas leak and cyl`s not firing

alright guy this just started happening today...
Number 1 and 3 are not firing yesterday they both were.
number 1 plug is wet and gets spark. Pipes stays cold.
Number 3 is damp gets spark and the pipe stays cold.
Number 2 and 4 are really rich black sooty plugs. Mixute screws are at 2 turns out.

I have a gas leak as well. Coming from the airbox overflow. when the gas is not coming out of the overflow it drips from the airbox intake boots while running. right now it is on the number 4 bot yesterday it was the number three. No gas in the engine yet. It is also blowing alot of smoke out of the pipes.

wat could this be. Carbs are in synch..

 

It sounds like your #1 and #3 floats are sticking and causing the whole carb bank to flood/run rich. I had the same problem but only one of my floats was sticking and causing the #2 carb to flood and drain from the airbox. The other cylinders were also running very rich, although I hadn't changed the settings and they were running fine previously. If you remove the air filter, you should be able to see the fuel streaming out of the inlet side of the carbs. Those are the ones with the stuck floats. I wound up polishing the float needle seats on my carbs, as I had already cleaned them multiple times. All I could think of was to try and polish them before I bought new needles and seats. It seems to have worked very well. I just used some Weenol polish on a piece of q-tip stuck in my dremel tool.

There are other possibilities for your cylinders not firing, but the fuel pouring out of the airbox leads me to believe your floats are stuck open.

 

And if it's doing it when it's shut off your petcocks are also subject.
