    Have the previous owner ever noticed that two engine mount bolts on left side are missing?

    jeepers. better go over it with a fine comb!! who just unbolts their engine and just leaves it?!

    Looks great!

    Look at Saddlemen.com for replacement kits(foam and cover) or seat covers.

    Y671 is their replacement cover for the '82 Maxim 750.

    I put one of their double bucket touring saddles on my Suzuki GS850L and it was good fit for the seat pan but did not have a grommet for the seat lock which comes out of the rear of the seat pan. I had a local upholstery shop install the grommet and finish the seat for me.

    Nice! I have the same bike (mostly) and have a couple questions for ya:


    -Where did you get the new handlebars and how did you end up mounting them?

    -Does your master cylinder leak? Its angled downward significantly with your new handlebars; I am sure mine would leak like that.
