And Done!! Re: Green powder mold? on carbs?

OK, went to the church of Clean!

Carbs are clean, floats are measured and spot-on, wet set is done and they are perfect, Sync is done, air mix is done and Rosie is running fine!!

Gonna go get some gas, and abuse her a little! LOL

What a rush, she is to ride! And I have an '06 FJR, so that should tell you how much I am impressed with her!! :D

    Ride safe, everybody! 8)

    Skippy-
Good to hear Rosie is better now.
I also hope that whatever curve ball life had thrown at you was hit out of the park!

So the Berryman B-12 worked well?
Would a gallon take on all 4 carbs?

Any special disposal of the B-12 after it is used?

    Thanks, Stumpy,

Still battling, but we will prevail!

Yes, the Berryman B-12 gallon of chem dip worked very well!

Since it is a dip, I just dipped the carb body and its corresponding float bowl, into the gallon can. It came with a basket, that you can lift out.

I did one carb at a time, and it cleaned all four, nicely. I rinsed them off with warm/hot water, in my kitchen sink, (SWMBO doesn't know about that...SHHH), then back into the garage with carb cleaner, and compressed air. Clean as can be!!

I assume that I can just keep the chem dip, and reuse it on my next bank of carbs! I have to work on my XS11 carb bank now...

So, until it is either all gone, or really dirty, I guess I can continue to reuse.

It was $27.99 well spent! Rosie is happy, I am happy, and most importantly, SWMBO is happy!
