    OH and swiss jon Also.

    Beer+fireworks= Bad idea.

My dad ended up with 12 stiches in between his middle and pointer finger. He thought it was a good idea to run around the block... drunk.... shooting a morter. The bottom of some morters are sharp...

    Ppsh Rednecks.

Darn, I am born into it.

I have just about gotten the frame done. I have been in the middle of a move.

I have been looking around, still not sure, but I would like to install tapered bearing. What do I need to do to the neck to install them? Dose the reace in the neck need to be removed? I looked at it but it looks like they do not come out.

Yes, the neck tube should be empty. If you look/feel carefully, you'll find the very thin edge of a lip that you can get a punch onto and start slowly driving the races out. It CAN be done, it just takes time, and don't get aggrevated. Get the races out, clean the old grease out, install new tapered sets, grease and assemble. Many of us have done it....you can, too.

When you re-install the new races, put them into the freezer (overnight). Warm the neck tube a little if you can too. They're an interference fit, so making the race contract should make it easier for you to fit :)

This is it mocked up with the tank, still needing a bit of work. Wanted to get an idea on the bars. Was wanting to run drag bars, but I have clubman around so put them on to see it and I think they are good upside down.

Sweet, Orlando. Go there a lot. These aren't bad bikes to bob, but I wouldn't mind having one to restore. This one had been cut up by the Po. I got it from someone in Okechobee for $300, rode it for a year in Tampa, brought it back to Sebastian to rebuild it. It is nice being able to find them on Craigslist for a good price. The Orlando area is always having xjs. I have found a good amount of parts bikes in the area.

I need some help on for my headlight, I am going to start looking for one. I do not need anything to nice and def need some thing cheap. It would be nice to have some thing that I will not have to fabricate anything to mount it. I can if I have to but rather not. I also would like some thing small.

If anyone has suggestion on a good light, or place to purchase one let me know.

I have also seen the fork mounts that they sell on ebay, but not sure what sets of lights would fit on them.

Can it be mounted easy. I am just not wanting to have to make any thing els. I am down to the point where I would love to stay away from fabbing more.
