Don't forget wet leaves either. Noticed some on the road tonight.

My worst laydown up there was in a patch of Mayflies on a corner. It was only an enduro but still scared the hell out of me.

BTW, I don't miss that white chit a bit! Lol

I do miss the trees and the seasons though...

We do have the salt down here it just happens to be on/in the beach sand !

McCarl I think you might be on to something there ! I know when I lived around in Westland and Plymouth, there were a bunch of riders who lived in apartments with no garages... I miss cruisin Hines Park on the bike!

yeah I like the seasons...which is why if I move in the next year (possibility) I am strongly considering Denver or Colorado Springs. Then I will have the fun of jetting my 550 for high altitude.

That's why I live in the White Mountains of AZ.

4 seasons (some may be short) and all the advantages of other cooler climes but with the Valley of the scorching blazing heat only a couple of hours away if old mwn winter gets too tuff I can make a quick run to the warmth.

I love the Flagstaff area...not sure where White Mountains region is. Places like Sedona make me want to go back...next time the mountain bike goes with me. I had a blast with it in Moab.

The White Mountains are generally the area refered to as the rim area between Show Low and the state line by Alpine on the East side of the state.
(not a true depiction of the WM)

I have a garage.... $0 for me. Go to home depot and get 4 sheets of plywood, 10 2x4's, some screws, some visquine and Sta-bil. Find an out of the way place at your house. Put the Stabilizer in the tank, wrap the bike in plastic, build a crate around your bike. Do not open till spring thaw.
