New Age baloney that belongs on motivational posters for the illiterate, especially when Columbus wasn't even the first European to "discover" the new world. :)

You're doing a good job on something few others would try or even suggest to others. Why not take compliments and credit for that rather than act like it's one man against the world fighting a dream and the man, etc etc? Everyone wants to see you succeed, dude, and looks forward to you rolling that puppy down the road.

Kilted. 8O Didnt mean to go touchy feely if you thought i meant to.Historical innaccuracies for illustration only.I've found reaction to be polarised on the suzuki, i found your first post to be the most considered and balanced reply out of the Lot.
I'll still do the Bike for My own satisfaction,I frankly dont give a damn what anybody else thinks about it,But I am also Inspired by the encouragement of Fellow posters.
Yes the suzook will be blasting on the A165,but we tend to use the quieter A164 around Driffield to reach Biking Country.

A posted picture should illustrate, accurately the descriptive text, if it is a picture of something else, you might just as well post a picture of
    Santa's fat a...

I knew why you'd gone for "water baby" :) sounds like the paint job's going to be worth a thread of its own... Oh and it's Trigger NOT Tigger (Trigger the road sweeper from Only Fools & Horses, He'd had his "old" broom for "years", but it'd had like 27 new heads and 12 new handles  )

Oh, and isn't this thread getting all deep & controversial? I thought it was just supposed to be some guy doing a heroic rescue of a near-hopeless write off! :?

Yes you're right, I've created a monster...... hope the Bike turns out better. The Only Fools and Horses reference was lost on Me.
I think I might revive the "How many forum Members does it take to Change a Light Bulb" Thread.
