indvidual needle jets

    are individual needle jets available for my XJ650 RJ? took two of the carbs apart today and one of the rubber tips is trashed. Thought i would replace all 4 while at it.

    If by fuel needle you are referring to the rubber tipped float needles, they are available from Chacal at a reasonable price.
    Fuel needles are located on the CV slide and ride in and out of the main jet emulsion tube. They do not have rubber tips.

    yes, i mean float needles. Dealers tell me you have to buy a kit and i don't think so....

    Part number HCP870 for just the float needle... but these are longer than stock, so it'll be necessary to bend the tang arm on the float to compensate.
