Is the xj 750 a wet clutch engine

    I need to change my oil and I wanted to know if it was wet clutch or just regular oil

    wet and oily it is oil from crank case that lubes the clutch . you need to use motorcycle rated oil with the Jaso MA/MA 2 stamp on it. I would recomend shell rotella T4 15-40 oil. it is used in diesel motors but has the jaso endorsement on the jug . can be had for 12 to 16$ a gallon
